Broccoli — Romanesco seeds
Romanesco Broccoli produces a large (but tender!) lime green head with an intricate geometric pattern. Romanesco Broccoli can produce heads of around 1kg and have a delicate, nutty flavour that is high in vitamin C. Ensure the broccoli head is protected from caterpillars and aphids.

Brassica oleracea | 50 seeds per packet
Start in seed trays in a protected area (indoors or inside a greenhouse) or sow direct approximately 6mm deep. Keep the soil moist. Transplant seedling out when they have grown around 6 leaves. Leave 35 to 45cm between transplanted seedlings or sown seeds, and approximately 40 to 60cm between rows of Romanesco Broccoli. Germination occurs within 15 to 25 days, at an ideal temperature of 10 to 30°C. Romanesco Broccoli reaches full maturity within 60 to 120 days.
This variety is usually sown in autumn for a winter crop, but can be sown direct in winter 2 to 4 weeks prior to the last frost for a spring crop*. Romanesco Broccoli performs best in cooler weather.
