Carrot — Paris Market seeds

$3.50

Paris Market Carrots produce small, round carrots approximately 5cm in diameter. Paris Market Carrots are orange or red in colour and full of flavour. This variety of carrot can be grown in usually unideal soil conditions — if your soil is rocky, shallow, is lacking nutrients, or is rich in clay, Paris Market Carrots can still thrive. Paris Market Carrots grow great in containers and pots, so they are the perfect addition to your urban garden. Water your Paris Market Carrots regularly to ensure they form their round-shape.

Daucus carota | 200 seeds per packet

Sow seeds direct into a garden bed or pot approximately 4mm deep. If you prefer, seeds can be sown into a drill and soil can be sprinkled lightly over the seeds (make sure you don't pack the soil down tight!). Keep the soil moist ensuring that it doesn't dry out. When sowing direct, ensure carrot seeds are sown 5cm apart. If sprinkling seeds, thin sprouts so they are 5cm apart. Leave approximately 25 to 30cm between rows of Paris Market Carrots. Germination occurs within 10 to 20 days. Seeds can be sown in a range of temperatures, but for best results sow when the temperature is between 10 to 30°C. Paris Market Carrots reach full maturity within 60 to 90 days.
