Marigold — Crackerjack
Cracker Marigolds are a hardy, compact bush-type flower that can grow to 90cm tall. The flowerheads are orange, yellow, and gold, and are often produced in double-blooms. Crackerjack Marigolds are a fast growing annual that flowers the same year as it is planted. Marigolds are great for boarders and companion planting. Marigolds are great for keep detrimental insects out of your garden.

Sow seeds directly into your garden bed or pots approximately 5mm deep or raise seedlings. Leave around 30cm between Crackerjack Marigold plants and around 90cm between rows of Crackerjack Marigolds. Keep soil moist (but not soggy!). Ideally, sow seeds when the temperature is between 24 to 28°C. Germination occurs within 4 to 7 days. Transplant your Crackerjack Marigold seedlings out when they are between 5 to 10cm tall. Crackerjack Marigolds reach full maturity after approximately 90 days.
