Zucchini — Black Beauty seeds
Black Beauty Zucchini grows as a compact, upright plant that is high-yielding throughout the summer. Black Beauty Zucchini is fast and easy to grow. This variety of zucchini produces cylindrical deep-green fruit with a thin skin and white creamy flesh. Black Beauty Zucchini is best to harvest when the fruit grows to around 15cm and skin is still soft. Remember to continually pick your zucchini fruit throughout the growing season to stimulate further production.

Sow seeds directly into your garden bed or pots approximately 20 to 30mm deep, leaving around 75cm between Black Beauty Zucchini seeds. Alternatively, you can raise seedlings in a protected area (in a greenhouse or indoors) and plant out after about 3 to 4 weeks making sure the last frost has passed. Leave approximately 100cm between rows of Black Beauty Zucchini. Keep soil moist (but not soggy!). Best sown in spring, but the sowing season will depend on your climate*. Ideally, sow seeds when the temperature is between 21 to 32°C. Germination occurs within 5 to 14 days. Black Beauty Zucchini reach full maturity within approximately 50 to 60 days.
